Korean Kalbi Short Ribs Recipe

Ingredients
- 5 lbs thin cut tender short rib of beef, cross cut,about 1/2 inch thick.
- 2 cups soy sauce
- 2 cups white sugar
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 inch piece of ginger grated
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 tsp of dry chili pepper flakes
- 1 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tbsp of sesame seeds

Directions
- Place all ingredient into a marinating dish, a 9x13 glass pyrex pan is great and marinate for about 4 hours or over night.
- During marinating time, turn over pieces to make sure they are all coated.
- Pop them on the grill, making sure not to over cook them because the sugar will caramelized quickly. You want them tender and grilled just right about 3-5 mins on each size depending on thickness of ribs.
- We usually serve this with white rice, and some Korean bean sprout salad. The meat is usually placed on chopped cabbage for serving.
