The hibachi is a traditional Japanese stove holding burning charcoal. Hibachi grills are used to cook food over direct fire. Hibachis are constructed of smooth cast iron bodies with a grill and fuel holder in place. Many types of Hibachis are available and they are handy when you do not have much space or want to do the grilling elsewhere. Because of the direct and close heat created it is best to grill small items like kebabs and thin strips of meat.
