Barbeque Sauce

- 3 cups chopped onion
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 cup sweet pepper, chopped
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 cup parsley, dried
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 3 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1/2 tablespoon Louisiana hot sauce
Place all ingredients in a large pan. Bring to a boil. Boil covered, over very low heat for 2 to 3 hours. This is the simplest recipe for a delicious barbecue sauce. Have a wonderful time with your family and friends enjoying grilled ribs with a barbecue sauce.
