Barbeque Ribs

It’s not only fun to relish on a home cooked barbecue ribs but more fun when you take it out to cook on your grill on a sunny day. Yes, barbecue ribs have it all which can make your day. The only factor is not to spoil it by making hasty decisions of cooking fast but to be watchful and patient to give it a proper cooking temperature on your grill. The all-time mistake people make when trying to grill ribs is too much heat. Barbecue Ribs should not be cooked quickly over a high direct heat source but low and slow. That delivers an evenly cooked delicacy to enjoy with your family and friends.

Now, moving ahead from the tips or two, to the recipe involved in the making of barbecue ribs. We have tried to present a simple recipe to grill the ribs. Lets move ahead with that.

INGREDIENTS:

- 4 to 5 pounds pork ribs, cut in serving-size pieces
- Salt and pepper
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- dash Tabasco sauce

PREPARATION:
Place ribs in a shallow roasting pan, meaty side down; flavor with salt and pepper. Roast at 425° for 35 minutes. Drain off excess fat; turn meaty side up. Top ribs with sliced lemon and onion. Reduce oven temperature to 350° and continue to roast ribs for 30 minutes longer.
Meanwhile, combine ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt and Tabasco in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and pour over ribs. Continue roasting ribs, basting occasionally, for 1 hour longer. Add more water if sauce gets too thick.Ribs recipe serves 4 to 6.
The barbecue ribs is the most enjoyed dish all over the united states and can be found with a bit of different flavors in different regions. You can add the flavors as you want to give it your kind of taste. So enjoy a appetizing barbecue rib over this weekend.
